Preparation Method :

  • Cream the butter and sugar together then beat in the eggs one at a time. Mix in the flour, semolina and caraway seeds.
  • Mix in the essence and enough coconut milk to form a thick batter. Put in a greased glass oven dish and bake in a moderate oven till golden and firm.
  • Remove from the oven when it is cooked.


  • 400 ml Thick coconut milk
  • 150 grams butter
  • 225 grams sugar
  • 175 grams refined flour
  • 150 grams of semolina
  • 30 grams blanched and sliced almonds
  • 1 teaspoon almond essence
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
