BOLO ALMANDE

Preparation Method :

  • Mix the beaten egg yolks, butter, ground almonds, flour and nutmeg in a mixing bowl.
  • Boil the water and sugar in a pan, when boils add in the grinded coconut and cook till it turns to thick syrup.
  • Remove from fire and cool. Add in the egg mixture and keep it aside.
  • Grease the mould with butter and dust with flour. Add in the mixture.
  • Place in a hot oven 350oC for about 10 - 12 minutes or until done.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams Almonds, Blanched and grinded    
  • 1 kg Sugar    
  • 130 grams Butter
  • 220 grams Refined flour
  • 450 grams Coconuts, grinded    
  • 9 Egg yolk    
  • A pinch of grated Nutmeg        
  • Water to make syrup
