Preparation Method :

  • Mix the flour with thin milk. Heat it and add jaggery and little salt.
  • When the flour mixture bubbles, stir in the thick coconut milk. When the mixture turns thick and leaves the sides of the pan remove from heat.
  • Put in a greased dish and smoothen with a greased plantain leaf. When cold cut it into pieces.
  • Add cashew nuts and raisins. Also add cardamom seeds and grated nutmeg.


  • 400 ml thin coconut milk
  • 200 ml thick coconut milk
  • 250 grams rice flour
  • 250 grams Goa palm jaggery
  • ¼ teaspoon each, Cardamom seeds and grated nutmeg
  • Cashewnuts and raisins, fried and chopped
