Preparation Method :

  • Tie cardamoms in a piece of cloth.
  • Put sugar and water in a pan. Put in cardamom bag and boil till the sugar dissolves. Mix in milk. Remove scum as it rises to the surface. Put in the almonds.
  • When the syrup begins to thicken remove the pan from heat. When cold squeeze out the juice from the spice bag and discard it.
  • Mix in the essence and strain out through a fine cloth. Store it in a bottle. While serving pour a tablespoon of the syrup in a serving glass, fill with cold water.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams almonds, blanched and ground
  • 400 grams sugar
  • 400 ml water
  • 1 teaspoon rose essence
  • 8-10 cardamoms, pound to fine powder
  • 100 ml milk
