Preparation Method :

  • Cook the mangoes for about 10 - 15 minutes with measured water or until soft and pulpy. Keep it aside.
  • Squeeze out the mango pulp and discard the skin. Keep the seeds with the pulp.
  • Grind the grated coconut with the mango pulp, chilli powder and salt.
  • Heat the pan with the oil, add in the mustard seeds till they begin to splutter.
  • Then add in the mango and coconut mixture.
  • Stir and remove.


  • 12 Small sucking mangoes, Rinsed
  • 150 grams grated Coconut
  • 1 teaspoon Chilli powder
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • ½ teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • Salt to taste
