Preparation Method :

  • Boil the meat with salt and vinegar and remove with stock.
  • Heat ghee and coconut oil and saute onion. Roast dry chillies and cummin seeds separately, grind with turmeric, ginger and garlic. When onion is browned add the masala paste.
  • Add little water with coconut, meat and stock. Season with salt and vinegar to taste. Mix well and when the gravy thickens remove from fire.


  • 500 grams Mutton cut into small pieces 
  • 10 Dry chillies 
  • 2 pinches Cummin seed 
  • 1 small piece Turmeric 
  • 7 slices Garlic 
  • 20 grams Ghee (melted) 
  • 15 ml Coconut oil 
  • 30 grams Onion sliced round
