Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in the saucepan. When hot, add mustard seeds and wait for them to crackle.
  • Add dry red chilli, curry leaves and green chilli. Add all vegetables and saute for few minutes.  Add turmeric and salt. Mix well. Add grated coconut.
  • Cover and cook on medium heat for 10 minutes. Stir occasionally.


  • 100 grams cabbage, finely chopped
  • 100 grams beans, finely chopped
  • 2 carrots, finely chopped
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 2 green chillies, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoon curry leaves
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 2 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 2 red dry chilies cut in to pieces
  • 100 grams fresh grated coconut
  • Salt to taste
