Preparation Method :

  • Squeeze together onion slices, grated coconut, ginger and salt, till they turn soft.
  • Add tomato slices, green chili and curry leaves, mix lightly. Finally add oil and tilt the pan.
  • Sprinkle little water and cook on slow fire till dry.


  • 75 grams large onion sliced thin and long
  • 1 teaspoon ginger finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • 25 grams half ripe tomato into thick slices 
  • 75 grams grated coconut
  • 1 tablespoon green chilies sliced round
  • A few curry leaves
  • Salt to taste
