Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a frying pan and add the mustard seeds and wait for them to crackle.
  • Add red chilli, curry leaves and onion and saute for 2 minutes.
  • Add spinach, green chilli and salt. Mix together and cook for 5 minutes, Add coconut. Cook uncovered for 5 minutes.


  • 750 grams fresh spinach, washed and chopped finely.
  • 2 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 2 red dried chilli, cut into two pieces
  • 2 tablespoon curry leaves
  • 2 green chilli, chopped
  • 4 onions, medium sized, finely chopped
  • 100 grams fresh coconut, grated
  • Salt to taste
