THAKKALI RASAM

Preparation Method :

  • Dissolve tamarind in water.
  • Crush chilly, garlic, onions, peppercorns, cumin, coriander Heat oil, fry mustard and fenugreek, add the crushed spices and fry lightly.
  • Add tomatoes and cook a little while.
  • Pour the tamarind water, salt and Asafoetida and boil.
  • Before serving, strain and garnish with mint leaves.

INGREDIENTS

  • A small piece Tamarind
  • 2 Red Dry Chilly
  • 1 teaspoon Black peppercorns
  • 1 teaspoon Asafoetida
  • 4 Garlic
  • 4 Small Onions
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander seeds
  • A pinch of Cumin seeds
  • A pinch of Mustard seeds
  • A pinch of Fenugreek
  • A spring Mint leaves
  • 4 Tomatoes cut into cubes
  • Salt to taste
  • 50 ml Coconut Oil
