Preparation Method :

  • Fry the red chillies and asafetida powder in oil.
  • Powder all the ingredients coarsely in a grinder. Mix in the salt.
  • Serve with hot rice and ghee.


  • 75 grams fresh coconut, grated and roasted to golden
  • 2 tablespoon Red gram Dhal, roasted
  • 2 tablespoon bengal gram Dhal, roasted
  • 9 dry red chillies
  • ½ teaspoon asafotida powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cooking oil
  • Salt to taste
