While making any kara kulambu, use this Kulambu Powder. If 250 grams of vegetables used, 4 teaspoon of kulambu powder can be added.
Makes :
2.5 Kilograms

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the broad pan without oil. Fry all the above Ingredients One by one on a very low flame. Fry well and let it get cold.
  • Grind all the ingredients by giving in a professional flour mill. Once grinding, Transfer curry powder in an air tight container.
  • If the Ingredients are fried properly, the curry powder can be stored and used for 3 months.


  • 200 grams Toor dhal
  • 500 grams red chillies
  • 100 grams Bengal gram dhal
  • 400 grams urad dhal
  • 50 grams pepper
  • 1 kg coriander seeds
  • Few curry leaves
  • 100 grams jeera
  • 40 grams turmeric powder
