Preparation Time :

Preparation Method :

  • Add the chillies, garlic and salt are pounded in a mortar and pestle.
  • Tadka: Heat the oil, when hot drop the mustard and sauté till it splutter.
  • Add the ground chutney and the lime juice, sauté the chutney for few minutes.
  • Add the fenugreek seed powder and mix well.
  • Store in an airtight container. The chutney can be used for a week.
  • Top with some peanut oil and serve with roti.


  • 150 grams Green chillies 
  • 9 cloves Garlic 
  • 1 teaspoon Lime juice 
  • ½ teaspoon Fried fenugreek seeds powdered 
  • Salt to taste
