Preparation Method :

  • Heat oil on medium heat, add peppercorns, sauté till they splutter.
  • Add fenugreek, roast till red.
  • Add cumin, coriander, asafoetida, curry leaves and roast lightly.
  • Remove from heat and add chilli powder, allow it to cool and grind to coarse powder.


  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon asafoetida 
  • 1 tablespoon Chilli powder
  • 150 grams coriander 
  • 2 tablespoon fenugreek 
  • 2 tablespoon Peppercorns 
  • 1 tablespoon Cooking Oil
  • Salt to taste
