Preparation Method :

  • Add all the ingredients to the atta and mix well.
  • Add oil, knead the flour into a soft dough using warm water and keep it aside for about 20 minutes.
  • Divide dough into small balls and roll out the balls into small rounds.
  • Heat oil, drop the rolled pooris gently into it.
  • Press the sides of the pooris with a frying spoon and turn. Fry till golden brown on both the sides. Drain on brown paper.


  • 300 grams atta
  • 50 grams grated , beetroot, grind to a paste
  • 2 teaspoon ghee
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Cooking oil for frying
