Preparation Method :

  • Mix all the ingredients with the refined flour and little oil into a smooth dough. Brush with oil and keep aside for about 2-3 hours.
  • Knead again briefly and divide the dough into 15 equal portions; shape each into balls. Compress each into a small patty.
  • Dip one end of the patty in oil and roll out into a disc.
  • Heat the oil in a wok; fry one round at a time until it puffs up and is golden brown on both sides. Remove and serve hot.


  • 250 grams refined flour, sieved
  • A pinch turmeric powder
  • 2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • A pinch cayenne pepper
  • 2 teaspoon Cooking oil
  • 150 ml warm water
  • Salt, to taste
  • Cooking oil for frying
