Preparation Method :

  • Sift the wholewheat flour and salt together. Add oil and mix well.
  • Make a well in the flour mixture, add cold water and knead into hard dough.
  • Divide the dough into 20-25 equal-sized balls and place them on a lightly floured surface. Cover with a kitchen cloth for about 10 minutes.
  • Roll out each ball between the palms to make a small disc.
  • Heat the oil in a wok or pan; deep-fry the discs until they puff up. Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
