Preparation Method :

  • Knead the flour with salt, sugar, milk, ghee, yeast and melon seeds. Gradually add water if needed and knead again into a soft dough.
  • Divide into 4-6 equal balls and keep aside for half an hour.
  • Dust lightly and roll into thick discs. Sprinkle with green coriander.
  • Stick the discs inside a hot tandoor using oven gloves for about 3-4 minutes till brown.
  • Brush with ghee. Serve hot. 


  • 200 ml milk
  • 250 grams rice flour, sifted
  • 145 grams ghee    
  • ½ teaspoon yeast
  •  2 teaspoon melon seeds
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon green coriander, chopped
  • Ghee for brushing
  • Salt to taste
