TANDOORI ROTI

Preparation Time :
45 minutes

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Sift the flour and salt together. Mix in the oil and water; knead to make soft dough. Cover with a moist cloth and keep aside for about half an hour.
  • Divide the dough equally into 4-5 balls and dust with flour.
  • Preheat the oven to 190°C / 375°F / Gas mark 5; flatten the balls and roll each out to disc.
  • Place the discs on a greased tray and bake for 3-5 minutes or until pale brown in colour. Serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 350 grams Wholewheat flour  
  • 100 ml Water
  • 2 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • Butter for greasing the baking tray
