Preparation Method :

  • Cut the skinned cod fillets in pieces using a sharp knife .
  • Put the green masala curry paste and the coconut milk or cream into a frying pan. Heat and simmer gently for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add the cod pieces and prawns to the cream mixture and cook gently for 5 minutes.
  • If using ready cooked prawns rather than raw shellfish, add them to the pan and heat through.
  • Transfer into a serving dish, garnish the curry with fresh coriander and serve immediately with basmati rice.


  • 750 grams cod fillets, skinned
  • 100 grams green masala curry paste
  • 200 ml canned coconut milk or creamed coconut
  • 175 grams raw or cooked, peeled prawns (shrimp)
  • Fresh coriander ,to garnish
  • Basmati rice, cooked to serve
