Preparation Method :

  • Cut the onion length wise and deep fry the same until it turns crispy brown.
  • In another pan, take oil and deep fry the chicken till it becomes tender.
  • Heat a heavy bottomed vessel, add bay leaves, Laung and cinnamon and when the flavour pops up, add the curd, turmeric powder and chicken, bring to boil and simmer for 30 minutes.
  • Add onions and meat masala to the above and keep stirring it.
  • Once the chicken is cooked, garnish it with coriander leaves.
  • Serve it with Tandoori Roti.


  • 1 kg Onion
  • 1 kg Chicken
  • 2 inch length cinnamon
  • 3 Laung
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 200 ml Curd
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Meat Masala
