Preparation Method :

  • Combine the ginger, garlic and yogurt and rub the mixture into the chicken breasts.
  • Marinate for overnight in the refrigerator.
  • Mix the chilli powder, cumin and oil together.
  • Pour this mixture over the chicken and grill or barbecue over charcoal until the chicken is done, turning regularly.
  • Serve with a rice or Roti.



  • 3 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 teaspoons plain yogurt
  • 4 chicken breasts or thighs
  • 3 teaspoons chilli powder
  • 3 teaspoons toasted cumin seeds, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons IDHAYAM Sesame oil
