PANEER KOFTA GRAVY

Preparation Time :

Cooking Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Stuffing :  Crush the paneer.
  • In a bowl, add paneer, oil, cashew paste, mint chutney, chopped pieces of dry fruits and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Make small balls out of it. Mix corn flour in water. 
  • Dip the balls in the flour. 
  • Heat a kadai, add sesame oil, deep fry the balls. Drain it on a kitchen towels.
  • Gravy: Add sesame oil in a pan, add curry leaves, cumin seeds.
  • Add ginger garlic paste, onion paste, tomato puree, green chillies paste and cook for 4 minutes.
  • Add salt, red chilli powder, garam masala, black pepper and saute well.
  • Add cream along with crushed paneer, dry fruits in the gravy. Cook for 2 minutes.
  • In a serving plate, add the fried balls, pout the gravy on top of it.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and dry fruits.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams Paneer
  • 2 teaspoon Cashew paste
  • ½ teaspoon Mint chutney
  • 2 teaspoon Corn flour
  • 2 teaspoon Onion paste
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger garlic paste
  • ½ teaspoon Green chillies paste
  • Dry fruits (raisins, chopped cashews) for garnishing
  • Few Coriander leaves
  • 2 teaspoon Crushed paneer
  • 3 teaspoon Cream
  • 3 teaspoon Tomato puree
  • Salt to taste
  • A pinch Black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Red chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon Coriander powder
  • A pinch Garam masala
  • Sesame oil for frying
