Preparation Method :

  • Heat oil,when hot add in onion rings. Saute for 2-3 minutes or until brown.
  • Add the ground paste. Cook for 1 minute. Then add in grated ginger with capsicum, salt, dhania powder, garam masala and red chili powder. Mix well, add tomatoes & paneer.
  • Add ½ cup cream or malai,allow to boil .Then sprinkle the lemon juice.
  • Transfer the hot vegetable to a serving dish. Garnish with finely grated paneer and serve hot.


  • 250 grams paneer - cut into small cubes
  • 2 onions - cut into fine rings
  • 2 capsicums - cut into fine rings 
  • 2 tomatoes - cut into slices 
  • 50 ml IDHAYAM sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon ginger - cut into matchsticks or grated 
  • Salt to taste 
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • ½ teaspoon red chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon garam masala
  • 120 ml cream or well beaten malai 
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Grind to Paste with water

  • 1 green chili
  • 1" piece ginger 
  • 1 tablespoon chopped coriander
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds 
  • 4 peppercorns
