Makes :

Preparation Method :

  • Pat dry the cubed mangoes and spread over a paper let it dry for one hour .
  • Now pour sesame oil in a pan and fry the methi leaves and garlic and keep aside.
  • Now Dry roast the mustard seeds and grind to fine powder.
  • Mix in a dry bowl mustard powder, chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt and keep aside
  • Now take a pickle jar spread a portion of cubed mangoes at the bottom and sprinkle a portion of the chilly mustard powder mixture , and also add few fried garlic cloves and methi leaves and pour 100 ml of oil.
  • Again spread another layer of cubed raw mangoes and repeat the same till the contents gets over.
  • Pour Remaining oil on top of the pickle.


  • 10 Raw mangoes, Cubed
  • 800 ml IDHAYAM Sesame oil
  • 150 grams Mustard seeds
  • 1 bunch Methi leaves
  • 30 Garlic cloves
  • Salt as required
  • 100 grams Chilli powder
  • 50 grams Turmeric powder
