Preparation Method :

  • Slit the red chillies and remove seeds and stems.
  • In a bowl, Add fenugreek powder, asafoetida, mustard powder, fennel powder, salt, dry mango powder and turmeric powder and mix.
  • Add  three teaspoon of oil to the masalas and mix well.
  • Stuff the chillies with this masala. Dip each chilli in the remaining oil and keep in a sterilized glass jar. Pack them tightly.
  • Pour the remaining sesame oil over, close the jar and keep in the sun light for a week. 
  • Now it is ready to be served.


  • 20 Pieces of Red chilli           
  • 50 grams Dry mango powder
  • 2 teaspoon Turmeric powder 
  • 1 teaspoon Asafoetida           
  • 50 grams Fenugreek powder
  • 100 grams Mustard powder   
  • 3 tablespoon Fennel seed powder      
  • 200 ml sesame oil
  • 50 grams Salt
