Preparation Method :

  • Pour boiling water over the noodles and leave to stand for 5 minutes or according to packet instructions. Drain.
  • Heat the sunflower oil, sesame oil and garlic in a wok or large open pan. When it is hot, add the Chinese leaves and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  • Stir in the spring onions, chicken, sesame seeds and the noodles.
  • Stir- fry over a high heat for about 3 minutes, using two spoons to lift and stir the mixture, to allow any excess liquid to evaporate so that the noodles do not become soggy.
  • When the chicken is cooked and the noodles are hot, serve immediately, accompanied by prawn crackers and chilli sauce.


  • 250 grams beancurd noodles     
  • 6 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 garlic clove, crushed
  • 500 grams Chinese leaves, shredded
  • 5 spring onions, sliced
  • 500 grams boneless chicken, cut into strips
  • 50 grams sesame seeds, toasted

To Serve

  • Prawn crackers
  • Chilli sauce
