Preparation Method :

  • Add salt and red chilli powder and mix it with the chopped mango. Mix and transfer to a glass serving bowl.
  • Heat the oil and add the mustard seeds. When the mustard starts to splutter, add the curry leaves and in a few seconds, remove from the flame.
  • Pour the baghar (seasoning) over the yogurt. Serve chilled. 


  • 500 grams yogurt, whisked
  • 1 large ripe mango, peeled and cut into small pieces
  • ½ teaspoon mustard seeds
  • ½ teaspoon coarsely ground red chilli powder
  • 10-12 curry leaves
  • 2 teaspoon Cooking oil
  • Salt, to taste
