Preparation Method :

  • Pound the broiled ingredients and keep aside.
  • Whisk the yogurt with salt. Add all the vegetables.
  • Pour into a glazed earthenware bowl. Sprinkle some red chilli powder and the pounded spices. Serve chilled.


  • 500 grams yogurt
  • 45 grams onions, chopped
  • 3 tablespoon tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, broiled
  • ½ cucumber, medium-sized, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon coriander seeds, broiled
  • ½ teaspoon black peppercorns, broiled
  • 2-3 green chillies, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon mint leaves, finely chopped
  • A pinch Red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
