BROCCOLI AND WATER CHESTNUT SALAD

15 minutes

1 hour

Preparation Method :

  • Steam the broccoli florets over boiling water for 5 minutes until bright green and still crisp. Put in a bowl with the water chestnuts.
  • Whisk together the remaining ingredients, season and pour over the broccoli, turning well to coat.
  • Cover and leave to marinate at room temperature for at least 1 hour before serving. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams broccoli florets
  • 200 grams water chestnuts, halved
  • 2 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 4 tablespoon tamari
  • 5 tablespoon sesame oil
  • ½ inch piece fresh root ginger, crushed in a garlic press
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted
