Preparation Method :

  • Sandwich Chutney:
  • Grind all the ingredients in a mixer or blender and add one tablespoon of water, if required. 
  • Add salt to taste. Sandwich chutney is ready.
  • Murukku Sandwich:
  • Apply sandwich chutney on one side of the murukku and arrange on a serving plate.
  • On top of the chutney, add a piece of cucumber and onion, followed by a piece of tomato and potato.
  • Spread the grated cheese on top of the potato pieces and cover with another murukku.
  • Garnish with sev and serve.


  • 12 pieces Mini Murukku
  • 12 Tomato slices, cut into small squares
  • 12 Cucumber slices, cut into small squares
  • 12 onion slices, cut into small pieces
  • 12 slices of boiled potatoes
  • 200 ml sandwich chutney
  • 200 grams grated Cheese
  • Sev, for garnishing

Sandwich Chutney

  • 12 sprigs Cilantro
  • 2 sprigs Mint Leaves
  • 100 grams Cucumber Skin/peel
  • 1/2 tablespoon Roasted Gram Dal
  • 1 pod Garlic
  • 2 Green Chillies
  • 1/2 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon chaat masala
  • Salt to Taste
