Preparation Method :

  • Soak the dal for 2 hours. Drain well and grind to a paste without water.
  • Place the dal in a bowl and beat it with an electric hand mixer till light in color and frothy.
  • Add all the other ingredients.
  • Make small pakoras out of the mixture.
  • Heat oil in a kadhai. Fry the pakoras till turns golden and crisp. Drain on paper.
  • Serve hot with green chutney.



  • 200 grams yellow moong dal
  • 100 grams dry fenugreek leaves
  • 50 grams broken cashew nuts
  • 2 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 3 green chillies-finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
  • Sesame Oil for frying
