Preparation Method :

  • Soak rajma in water overnight.
  • Remove the skin by pouring boiling water over it. Grind the rajma to a coarse paste.
  • Add chopped onion, green chillies, tomatoes, chilli powder, coriander powder, lemon juice, and peanuts and salt to that rajma paste.
  • Then, add garam masala powder and add besan and mix it well.
  • Make that mixture as a small rolls/balls or which ever the shape you want.
  • Deep fry in hot oil/ghee till golden brown.


  • 250 grams rajma
  • 1 medium sized tomato, chopped fine
  • 1 medium sized onion, chopped fine
  • 2 green chillies, chopped fine
  • 100 grams peanuts (roughly crushed)
  • Handful of coriander leaves chopped
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 2 teaspoon Chilli powder
  • 2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Garam masala powder
  • Cooking oil for frying
  • 1 tablespoon of besan
