Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil/butter in a large pot, add the chopped celery, sauté for about 1 minute, then add the flour and cook for another minute or so.
  • Add the milk and stock all at once, stirring continuously. Add the seasoning, and bring the soup to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer gently until the celery is tender.
  • Divide the soup in bowls or cups, put 1 teaspoon of cream on top, and sprinkle with paprika.


  • 50 ml Cooking oil
  • 75 grams celery, finely chopped
  • 50 grams flour
  • 150 ml milk
  • 750 ml stock
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 25 grams cream
  • some paprika powder.
