Preparation Method :

  • Take a Kadai pour Idhayam sesame Oil and all the vegetables and sauté the vegetables for 3 minutes.
  • Add water, salt and crushed pepper and cook till the vegetables become soft and keep the soup aside.
  • For the dumplings
  • Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix it like a chappathi dough and divide the mixture into 12 portions.
  • Roll the portions into small oval shaped balls.
  • In a kadai, pour sesame oil, when the oil becomes hot, put the dumplings and fry it. Fry till it becomes golden brown and keep aside.
  • To serve
  • Take soup bowls, add one or two dumplings pour hot soup over it and garnish with coriander leaves and roasted sesame seeds. 


  • 400 grams Carrot, Beans, Cabbage, broccoli, Spring onions, cut into small Pieces
  • 1 teaspoon Whole black pepper crushed                               
  • 2 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • Salt to taste

For the Dumplings

  • 2 Tablespoon Sesame Seeds
  • 150 grams Gram flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon chopped Green chillies
  • Small bunch Coriander leaves
  • ¼ teaspoon Pepper powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Chilli powder
  • 100 ml Sesame oil for deep frying
