Preparation Method :

  • Dissolve jaggery in boiling water and strain to remove scum.
  • Powder cardamom.
  • Mix both flours together with cardamom powder.
  • Add strained jaggery to the flours and mix well to form a thick batter without lumps.
  • Make thick dosas with ghee.
  • Serve hot with white butter.


  • 300 grams Wheat flour
  • 4 tablespoons Rice flour
  • 300 grams Jaggery
  • 2 teaspoon Cardamom
