Preparation Method :

  • Marinate the chicken pieces in a bowl with lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper for about 5 hours.
  • Coat each chicken piece well with All Purpose flour then dip in the egg and coat with the bread crumbs and Refrigerate.
  • Heat oil in a low flame.
  • Deep fry until it turns to golden brown. Drain on kitchen towels.
  • Garnish with lemon wedges and coriander sprigs.
  • Serve hot with a sauce.


  • 6 chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 4 flakes garlic - crushed
  • Freshly ground pepper and salt to taste


  • 50 grams All purpose flour - seasoned with little salt, in a plate
  • 1 egg - beaten with little water
  • 100 grams dried bread crumbs, in a shallow plate.
  • IDHAYAM MANTRA Peanut Oil for frying
