Preparation Method :

  • Mix the salted chipsticks, chopped chillies, coriander and turmeric in a bowl.
  • Heat 2 tablespoon of the oil in a frying pan. Add the chipstick mixture and water. Cook until the chipsticks turn soft and crisp.
  • Turn the pancake carefully and allow to cook till it turns brown on the other side.
  • Gently break the eggs over the pancake, cover and allow the eggs to set. Season well and sprinkle with spring onions. Serve hot.


  • 250 grams salted chipsticks 
  • 50 ml Cooking oil 
  • 5 tablespoon water
  • 6 eggs
  • 4 scallions, finely chopped 
  • 2 fresh green chillies, finely chopped
  • A few coriander sprigs, chopped 
  • ¼ teaspoon ground turmeric
  • Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
