VEG SHAMI KEBAB

Makes :
16 Kebabs

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
10 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Wash and clean the Whole Bengal gram and keep it in pressure cooker.
  • Mix all the ingredients in Whole Bengal gram with some water and cook it for 15 minutes.
  • Place mixture in a plate and keep aside.
  • Grind well the above in a smooth paste.
  • Add kewda drops, chopped onion, green chilli and green coriander mix well.
  • Divide the mixture into 16 equal portions and shape in to flat kebabs.
  • Heat pan, add sesame oil then place kebabs and cook for some time.
  • Serve hot with mint and coriander chutney, onion rings and lemon wedges. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams Bottle gourd
  • 500 grams Whole Bengal gram
  • 3 small Cardamom
  • 15 Ginger flakes
  • 1 small piece Garlic  
  • 4 Red chillies
  • 2 Large Cardamoms
  • 200 grams Soya granules
  • 1 mace
  • 1" stick cinnamon
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 Cloves
  • 1 pinch Nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon Black pepper
  • 7 tablespoon IDHAYAM Sesame oil
  • 2 Onions, chopped
  • 4 green chilli, chopped
  • 3 tablespoon Chopped green coriander
  • Few drops of Kewda
