Preparation Method :

  • Shell peas.                                                        
  • Chop onion finely.
  • Pressure-cook peas in salt water for greenness and keep aside.
  • Roast the mustard seeds in oil and add the onion and curry leaves.
  • Roast for 3 minutes until light golden in colour.
  • Add peas, stir.                                            
  • Serve hot with rice.


  • 600 grams of peas
  • 200 grams of onion
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • A few curry leaves
  • 1 tablespoon IDHAYAM sesame oil
  • Salt to taste
