KARAHI SHREDDED CABBAGE WITH CUMIN

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil and butter in a deep frying pan and add the crushed coriander seeds, white cumin seeds and dried red chillies.
  • Add the shredded cabbage and mange-tout and stir-fry for about 5 minutes.
  • Add the sliced fresh red chillies, baby corn cobs and salt, fry for a further 3-5 minutes.
  • Garnish with the toasted almonds and fresh coriander and serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • 50 grams ghee or butter
  • ½ teaspoon crushed coriander seeds
  • ½ teaspoon white cumin seeds 
  • 6 dried red chillies 
  • 1 small savoy cabbage, shredded
  • 10 -12 mange-touts 
  • 3 fresh red chillies, seeded and sliced 
  • 10 baby corn cobs
  • Salt, to taste
  • 30 grams flaked almonds, toasted 
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander (cilantro)
