Preparation Method :

  • Reheat the pan with little oil. Add the cabbage and the ground paste. Stir well.
  • Mix the grated coconut and adjust seasoning. Cover and cook over low heat for about 15 minutes.
  • Garnish with grated coconut and serve hot.


  • 550 grams Cabbage, finely shredded
  • 75 grams Onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoon Coconut oil
  • 25 grams grated Coconut
  • ½ teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • ½ teaspoon Split black gram  
  • 3-4 Green chillies, chopped
  • A few Curry leaves  

Grind to a paste and Saute together until golden brown

  • 25 grams grated Coconut
  • 2 tablespoon Coconut oil
  • 5-6 Black peppercorns  
  • ½ teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • ½ teaspoon Aniseed  
  • 5-6 Garlic cloves
  • Salt to taste
