Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a pan; add the chickpea mixture with all the dry spices, fried potato fingers and ginger; toss well for about 10-15 minutes.
  • Garnish with green chillies, dried red chillies and onion rings. Serve hot.


  • 250 grams Chickpeas, washed, soaked with soda bi carbonate and cooked with tea bags and discard the tea bags
  • 1 teaspoon Soda bicarbonate
  • 1 Tea bag
  • 150 grams Onion, cut into rings
  • 150 grams Potatoes, cut into fingers, fried
  • 100 ml Cooking oil 
  • 2 tablespoon Coriander seeds
  • 2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 2 teaspoon Pomegranate seeds, ground
  • 2 teaspoon Dried mango powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 2" Ginger piece, julienned, fried
  • 2-3 Green chillies
  • 1 Dried red chilli, chopped
  • Red chilli powder and Salt to taste
