Preparation Method :

  • Heat the butter and oil in a deep frying pan, add the whole spices and onion, then stir-fry until golden brown.
  • Add all the other vegetables One by one, seasoning and lemon juice. Continue to fry for 5 minutes over a medium heat.
  • Remove from the heat and put the vegetables in an ovenproof dish, spread the grated cheese evenly on top and place the sliced tomatoes over the cheese.
  • Sprinkle the chopped fresh coriander over the top and bake in a preheated oven (400°F / 200°C / Gas 6) for 10 minutes.
  • Serve hot.


  • 100 grams butter 
  • 1 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • ¼ teaspoon black cumin seeds
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 medium onion, peeled and finely chopped
  • 120 grams potatoes, cut into thin chips
  • 100 grams cauliflower, cut into small florets 
  • 120 grams green beans, fresh or frozen
  • 1 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper and Salt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 250 grams Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2 medium tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chips coriander
