Preparation Method :

  • Heat a shallow pan until hot, add the oil and add the garlic and chillies, then stir-fry for a few seconds.
  • Add the shallots and stir-fry until softened. Add the mushrooms and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes.
  • Pour in the coconut milk , boil rapidly over high heat until the liquid has reduced by about half and coats the mushrooms. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Sprinkle the chopped coriander and toss gently to mix. Serve at once.


  • 250 grams, sliced, brown-cap mushrooms 
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 2 fresh red chillies, seeded and sliced into rings
  • 3-5 shallots, finely chopped 
  • 2 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • 150 ml coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander 
  • Salt and black pepper
