Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add the cumin seeds and, once they have browned, the coriander, turmeric, chilli and salt.
  • Add the okra after 10 seconds and stir-fry until it is just cooked.
  • Stir in the dried mango powder, adjust the seasoning and serve.


  • 225 grams okra, wiped, topped, tailed and sliced
  • 25 ml IDHAYAM sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • Chilli powder, to taste
  • Salt, to taste
  • Dried mango powder, to taste
