Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a pan; add cumin seeds, cloves and cinnamon stick. Fry until they crackle.
  • Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, yogurt and brown sugar. Fry until the oil separates. Adjust seasoning with salt.
  • Add the peas and whole milk fudge. Pour in a cup of hot water and cook until the peas become tender. Sprinkle with garam masala.


  • 750 grams Green peas, shelled
  • 150 grams Whole milk fudge, liquidized
  • 100 grams Yogurt, whisked
  • 100 grams Cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • ½ teaspoon Brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 2-3 Cloves
  • 1" Cinnamon stick
  • Red chilli powder and Salt to taste
