CHILLI POTATO

Serves :

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Peel off the skin of potatoes and cut it long in finger shape. Wash thoroughly.
  • Into the cut potatoes, put salt, pepper powder and corn flour. Keep it aside for half an hour.
  • In a frying pan, heat sesame oil and put the marinated potatoes. Fry till all sides are in golden brown colour.
  • Drain the excess oil by putting the fried potatoes in a tissue paper.
  • In the same frying pan, put 2 to 3 tablespoon sesame oil and put the chopped onion and garlic paste. Fry this for 1 minute.
  • Put red chilli powder, soy sauce, sugar, vinegar and tomato ketchup in to the frying pan and mix well.
  • When it is mixed properly, add the fried potatoes, mix well.
  • Sprinkle little toasted sesame seeds on top and serve it hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams Potato
  • 2 teaspoon Garlic paste
  • 2 teaspoon Soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoon Sugar
  • 2 teaspoon Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 3 tablespoon Corn flour
  • 50 ml Sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoon Tomato ketchup
  • 2 Onion, finely chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame seeds, toasted
  • Pepper powder, to taste
