BENGAL GRAM WITH COCONUT

15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil and saute aniseed and cinnamon stick. Add coconut and saute further for 3-5 minutes.
  • Add the boiled Bengal gram and then cook for 10 more minutes. Mix in the salt and sugar. Serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams Bengal gram, washed, drained and boiled
  • ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 2 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon Aniseed  
  • 1" Cinnamon stick
  • 2 tablespoon Coconut, fresh, thin small pieces
  • Salt, to taste
  • ½ teaspoon Sugar
