Preparation Method :

  • Peel and cut only 2 radish, into thin slices.
  • Heat oil, reduce flame. Add carom seeds, Fry till golden brown.
  • Add chopped onion and ginger,stir till onions turn transparent.
  • Reduce flame and add red chilli, turmeric, amchur, green chilli with salt, mix it well for about 2-3 minutes.
  • Now add chopped radish greens and radish pieces, sauté for at least 3 minutes.
  • Add sugar and garam masala. Cover and cook on low flame till radish turns tender.
  • Adjust seasoning and Serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 medium sized radish with green tops
  • ¾ teaspoon carom seeds (omum) 
  • 2 onions - finely chopped
  • 1" piece ginger - finely chopped 
  • 1 green chilli - deseeded and chopped 
  • Salt to taste 
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder 
  • ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • ¾ teaspoon garam masala 
  • 1 teaspoon amchur
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • 4 tablespoon Cooking oil
